FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 23, 2022) –Morris-Depew Associates is pleased to announce that Paul Torocco, a Project Engineer with Morris-Depew since 2018, has received his registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). A graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, Mr. Torocco possesses experience in residential, commercial, and transportation projects, seeing them through the design, permitting, and construction phases.
“Accomplishing a P.E. certification is one of the highest goals for an engineer, and the process is quite extensive,” said Ryan Shute, PE, Director of Operations. “It requires passing rigorous exams and acquiring at least four years of professional experience. This next step in Paul’s career will open up valuable opportunities for him to advance.”
As a Professional Engineer, Mr. Torocco is responsible for designing various projects and plans for utilities, stormwater management, transportation, and preparing traffic impact analyses. Additionally, Paul assists fellow project team members with the permitting and construction phases necessary to bring a project to successful completion.
“Paul has continuously demonstrated a high degree of competency as one of our engineers, and we are enthusiastic to see him continue to apply his education and experience,” added Shute.
