An accomplished leader and Founder of Morris-Depew Associates, David Depew retired from the firm in 2020. During his tenure, Mr. Depew served in a variety of leadership roles in both the private and public sectors, including as a county development director and planning consultant.
A recognized testimony and litigation expert, Mr. Depew has provided counsel on a variety of administrative and judicial hearings related to land use, comprehensive planning, policy analysis, zoning, and transportation planning. With a keen understanding of regulatory processes and procedures in both the judicial courts as well as the federal courts, Mr. Depew’s additional areas of expertise include traffic analysis, policy analysis, eminent domain-related planning issues, demographics, and statistical modeling.
As a professional planner, Mr. Depew has focused his services in providing the best possible advice and dedication to his clients while maintaining a personal obligation to serve the public interest. As a private sector planning consultant, Mr. Depew also shares in a belief of building better, more inclusive communities while advancing client interests through the application of sustainability and the application of practical planning principles.
