Our History

Since 1989, Morris-Depew Associates has specialized in developing and executing long-term, innovative and comprehensive engineering and land planning solutions. What started as a vision created by founders Dave Depew and Michael Morris has grown into a comprehensive multidisciplinary consulting firm. Expanding its services in 2004 to include professional surveying services under the leadership of Mark Hatfield, Morris-Depew is now recognized as one of the top consulting firms across the state offering quality civil engineering, land planning, landscape architecture, surveying and mapping, and litigation assistance services for a variety of local governments and private sector clients.

Over the years, Morris-Depew Associates has had the pleasure of working on a variety of local, regional and statewide projects that have positively impacted communities we serve. Through collaborations and partnerships with businesses throughout Florida, we have seen transformational growth through quality redevelopment, infrastructure investments, water management solutions and careful land planning.  From our initial offices in Fort Myers, we have grown to now serve the East Coast as well as the Panhandle.

We are proud of our history, and look forward to building upon the successes of our founders through the next generation of impactful and visionary leaders of Bill Morris and Ryan Shute.
