Lucero Faviola Ventura Antonio serves as a Project Engineer at Morris Depew Associates. Born in Naples, Florida, and raised in Estero, Ventura brings a robust background in civil engineering and a passion for innovation to our team.
A Florida Gulf Coast University graduate, Ventura earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Her professional experience includes significant roles with the Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C., where she participated in initiatives focused on sustainability, including a National Ready Mixed Concrete Association meeting aimed at reducing carbon emissions through thoughtful material selection. At Future Aviation, she worked collaboratively with mechanical and aerospace engineers to resolve product issues, document solutions, and develop replacement part drawings. Additionally, her experience as a learning and teaching assistant allowed her to refine her communication and mentorship skills, supporting students in navigating the engineering design process.
Ventura is recognized for her analytical acumen and her ability to ask insightful questions, contributing effectively to team collaboration and project success. She is deeply committed to continuous professional development and aspires to leverage her education to enhance the projects at Morris Depew Associates.
In addition to her engineering pursuits, Ventura actively volunteers with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, where she shares her insights as a recent graduate and fosters connections within the engineering community. She is also involved with the Cooking Club, offering her assistance whenever needed.
Her academic accomplishments include being a recipient of the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship and the President’s Silver Scholarship. Known for her enthusiasm in presenting and sharing knowledge, Ventura adds a unique vibrancy to the workplace.
