Cindy Leal Brizuela is an Assistant Planner at Morris-Depew Associates where she assists in the preparation of land use planning applications and GIS exhibits. She is a candidate at the University of Florida’s Urban and Regional Planning Master’s Program from which she will be graduating December 2019. Her comprehensive academic background has consisted of coursework in economic development, transportation, land use law, conceptual land planning and design, site analysis, and international development.
Ms. Leal Brizuela has a diverse professional background touching on various stages of the development process including real estate contract review. Her extensive experience executing due diligence reports and preparing associated GIS exhibits provides developers with key information pertaining to sites of interest. Additional GIS application includes the preparation and management of file geodatabases utilized for data collection which facilitate on-site data collection to provide high-precision exhibits and informative reports.
Ms. Leal Brizuela was the recipient of the 2017 Florida Planning and Zoning Association Outstanding Student Award. In addition to being a member of FPZA, she is a member of the American Planning Association as well as a member of APA’s International Division and Latinos and Planning Division.
