Retired from Morris-Depew Associates in 2020, Mark Hatfield leaves an important mark on our industry. During his 15 years with MDA, Hatfield helped grow and expand the firm’s Survey and Mapping division.
His extensive experience and expert survey knowledge over 40 years has contributed to numerous real estate transactions, successful permitting and entitlements secured, and precision groundwork for construction projects.
Mr. Hatfield’s keen knowledge of traditional and nontraditional surveys has also played a major role in the firm’s wide-ranging projects, varying from residential and multi-family master planned communities, to large-scale mines and environmentally sensitive lands in the Okaloacoochee Slough in Hendry County.
He is also a member of numerous civic organizations, including Florida Society of Surveying and Mapping, American Congress of Surveying and Mapping, Florida Chapter of American Planning Association, Leadership Lee County and Rotary Club of Fort Myers.
