Creative, analytical and a problem solver, Valeria Dominique Larrea joined Morris-Depew as a Project Engineer.
Born in Quito, Ecuador and fluent in English and Spanish, Larrea moved to the United States at the age of 12. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida Gulf Coast University.
She grew up with an interest in math and science, growing into a passion for civil engineering, which further developed her creativity and analytical skills. Civil engineering also has strengthened her ability to problem solve through observation, investigation and reasoning. She fell in love with the ability to turn vision into reality while being sensitive to local and environmental challenges.
A member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Larrea describes herself as determined, strong-willed, goal oriented, optimistic and trusting.
Her bucket list items include traveling to different countries and learning about their cultures.
