Gulf Coast Medical Center

Gulf Coast Medical Center is one of the leading healthcare facilities in our region, and a longtime partner of Morris-Depew Associates. As the region continues to grow, GCMC has taken active steps to help fill the need for adequate care by expanding its facility to provide a broader range of services to Southwest Florida residences. Construction is currently underway for the expansion project on the Main Campus that will include adding three-stories to the existing patient towers to accommodate an additional 268 beds. Construction was recently completed on a new acute care skilled nursing unit adjacent to the Main Campus, and future plans include a new medical park campus, along with a centrally located parking structure to support the mixed-use development. All four of MDA’s core disciplines – Civil Engineer, Land Planning, Landscape Architecture and Survey & Mapping – have been involved in the execution of the multi-layered projects for Gulf Coast Medical Center.
