Lee County Tax Collector’s and Property Appraiser’s office
We’re taking you back to 1989!
Lee County was looking to expand their offices and create a new iconic building that would frame the entrance to downtown Fort Myers. This building would become the home for the Lee County Tax Collector’s office and the Lee County Property Appraiser’s office. The team at Morris-Depew Associates was brought in to provide civil engineering and landscaping services for the project. Over time, the landscape around the project has evolved due to the improvements to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Fowler Street, but our footprint can still be seen today. Our team was instrumental in overseeing installation of the stormwater management system, utilities, parking, and landscaping for the site, and then was called upon to redesign the drainage and landscaping once the roadway improvements were underway. Projects like these have played an important part of our history and commitment to this community and region.
We’re thankful to the many we’ve worked with over the years who have played a part in shaping Southwest Florida.
